William C. Kohler, M.D.

Dr. William C. Kohler is the Medical Director of the Florida Sleep Institute in Spring Hill, Florida. 

He is a Courtesy Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Florida, and an Affiliate Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of South Florida. His 1968 publication in the Journal of Pediatrics on sleep in two year olds was the first description of sleep parameters in that age group.

Dr. Kohler is Board Certified in Sleep Medicine, Neurology with special competence in Child Neurology, Pediatrics and Electroencephalography.

Dr. Kohler is a spokesperson for the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and past Chairman of their Accreditation Committee. He is also an approved consultant in clinical hypnosis by the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.

Dr. Kohler maintains an active clinical practice, teaching and research program in sleep disorders. He has been a guest speaker at numerous conferences and seminars in the United States, Canada and Abroad.
