Midol Teen is an over the counter medication used to temporarily relieve symptoms associated with menstrual periods, including minor aches and pain, bloating, cramps, and weight gain due to water retention.

It is a single product containing 2 ingredients: acetaminophen and pamabrom. Acetaminophen belongs to a group of drugs called analgesics, which is thought to work by blocking pain signals from reaching the brain. Pamabrom belongs to a group of drugs called diuretics, or water pills. The exact way pamabrom works is unknown, but helps the body get rid of excess water.

This medication comes in a caplet form, and is usually taken every 6 hours, with plenty of water.

Common side effects of Midol Teen includes nausea, vomiting, and dehydration.
