Alefacept

Alefacept is a prescription medication used to treat moderate to severe chronic plaque psoriasis in adults. Alefacept belongs to a group of drugs called immunosuppressants. It is thought to work by blocking the actions of certain cells of the immune system.

Alefacept comes in an injectable form to be given directly into a muscle by a healthcare provider. It is usually given once a week, for 12 weeks.

Common side effects include sore throat, dizziness, and cough. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery until you know how Alefacept affects you.

Dronedarone

Dronedarone is a prescription medication used to lower the chance of hospitalization caused by atrial fibrillation (irregular heart rhythms). Dronedarone belongs to a group of drugs called antiarrhythmics, which help the heart beat normally.

This medication comes in tablet form and is taken twice a day, with food.

Pertzye

Pancrelipase is a prescription medication for people who cannot digest food normally because their pancreas does not make enough enzymes due to cystic fibrosis or other conditions. Pancrelipase is a mixture of enzymes normally produced by the pancreas that help the body digest foods.

This medication comes in capsule form and is several times a day, with food and plenty of fluids.

Eltrombopag

Eltrombopag is a prescription medication used to prevent bleeding episodes in patients with chronic immune (idiopathic) thrombocytopenia (ITP) or chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV). Eltrombopag belongs to a group of drugs called thrombopoietin receptor agonist, which work by causing the cells of the bone marrow to produce more platelets (cells that are needed for blood to clot).

This medication comes in tablet form and is taken once a day, on an empty stomach.

Common side effects of eltrombopag include nausea, diarrhea, runny or stuffy nose, and muscle aches.

Isoniazid

Isoniazid is a prescription medication used in the prevention and treatment of tuberculosis. Isoniazid belongs to a group of drugs called antitubercular agents. It is believed to work by preventing the bacteria from multiplying in the body.

Ethambutol
