Phong Hoang, Pharm.D.

Phong graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy in 2009. He continued his education and training by pursing a postgraduate year one community residency where he focused on developing, implementing, and delivering innovative patient care services in the community pharmacy setting. His residency experience also focused on providing clinic-based ambulatory care and performed research on patients’ perception of medication therapy management by pharmacists.

Phong is currently the pharmacy director at the OU Pharmacists Care Center. Outside of work, he is an active member of the Oklahoma Pharmacists Association and serves as the secretary for the Oklahoma City District. He is also an active member of the National Community Pharmacists Association and promotes the high quality of care that independent pharmacists provide for their patients. Phong is Vice-President and co-founder of Canvass, a consultant company that inquires of businesses and individuals to develop innovative technological solutions to improve the work environment.
