Yupelri is a prescription medication used for the maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) a long-term (chronic) lung disease that includes chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or both.

Yupelri belongs to a group of drugs called long-acting muscarinic antagonists, which are often referred to as anticholinergics. These medications work through inhibition of M3 receptor at the smooth muscle leading to bronchodilation.

Yupelri comes as a solution for oral inhalation. The recommended once-daily dose is one 175 mcg unit-dose vial administered by nebulizer using a mouthpiece. Yupelri should be administered by the orally inhaled route via a standard jet nebulizer connected to an air compressor.

Common side effects include cough, runny nose, upper respiratory tract infection, headache and back pain.
